It should read 'who GOT married'!

I am a wife... I am married... I am home.

Crazy, right?!

I can't believe it all happen over a week ago. Richard and I got home yesterday and I am already back at work and back into routine... seems so wrong. I woke up on a beautiful beach miles away from this desk, yet here I am working away as if nothing momentous happen at all.

I can't believe it is all over and I have said to Richard numerous times... it's all done. We're not special anymore (well to anyone other then each other). The chaos... the stress... the frustrations... done, but with them goes the anticipation, excitement and attention.

I am glad to hide in the shadows for a while... just wake up every morning for that morning and not worrying about the next 10 minutes let alone the next month or year (or 592 days).

We have a few teasers from Ken (or AMAZING photographer) and if you click the happy little link you can see them too :)

When I have more I will post all of them...

In the meantime here is my dress in the making... start to finish.

The Big Day (with my Dad) - July 1st 2012
I loved my dress (and hair and make-up). I hope you do too! I really will post more pictures once I have them... just a couple of weeks until all the pictures come to me and I will post them all here in a dozen posts.

Oh yeah and I promised my vows (and Richard's but I don't have them)...

First, Thank you coming.
Second, I have been writing my entire life. Typically I can describe, to you, in great detail how I am feeling at anytime, yet when I tried to put words on paper of what to say, to explain to you and everyone here why I love you so much. I drew a blank. There are no words to describe how much I love you, how badly I need and how intensely I crave you. So I am going to keep it short.
I vow to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands. To speak when words are needed and share the silence when they are not. And to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.
Richard, I promise to love you just the way you are for the rest of my life. I promise to never ask you to change who you are. I promise to keep being awesome so you can keep being awesome with me. And I promise to never challenge your great love for two wheels.
You taught me about love and passion, sincerity and trust. You gave me a best friend and a partner, a lover and a confidant. I can't wait to grow old with you. I am going to love you… forever always and after.

I bet you're a little teary eyed... wait till you see Richards - AMAZING! He wrote it all in song lyrics from the our songs (a bunch of different ones from different times).
I think that is enough of a tease.
Love!
Mrs. Melanie Pridham... Xx
