Here's the set up... it was a Friday night (never have an S&D on a Friday), it started at 7pm and was themed (only have a theme if you plan on telling EVERYONE). Richard and I spent the entire day running around and picking stuff up, before loading the cars and heading to the venue to set-up. We spent 3 hours pulling tables, setting up chairs and adding decor to a very big empty room. Cheryl joined us later for some last minute running around and Liz took over the kitchen around 3. Our very talented (and committed) bartender showed up around 5 and got the bar set-up and ready for the waves of people to trickle in.
On a side note... There was a wave of relief the morning of the Stag & Doe to know the planning was over. The stress and headaches were done and it was all up to fate. I can only hope that relief comes on the wedding day as well. I love Richard and I miss loving him... we have been so stressed lately that the love hasn't been freely flowing.
Oh yeah... my hair (I'll do a seperate post). Needless to say it didn't happen.
We drank lots, pounded the jello shots and took the party back to our place... not before Pete delivered a PIE to my FACE. Only Pete could get away with that.
We have amazing friends and the party was incredible... thanks to all who contributed. I am just glad its over.
68 DAYS!! Eeee!
