CAKE!!

Ladies and Gentlemen... let's eat CAKE! And its probably the best cake I have ever eaten. In fact, I am drooling at the thought of the chocolate hazel-nutty goodness I sunk my fork into last night.

Let's rewind. I. Love. Cake. That is no secret, but when it came to finding someone to create my wedding cake I was being VERY picky. I wanted something worthy of a cake show. I wanted a designer that got excited and wanted to work with me. I wanted a cake that would have people saying 'That's a cake?' I wanted a cake that looked nothing like a wedding cake, but I had no idea how to find a cake making wizard and even now I am struggling to remember the magic that brought me to This Chick Makes Cakes, but last night, with my Google Maps in hand, I headed to Hamilton and met Kristy - a Chick Who Makes Cakes. Really. Good. Cakes.

Her enthusiasm and modesty just add to her likability. She took our idea of 'Tires' and ran with it, without hesitation. We chatted for over and hour and never once felt silly for having a black wedding cake.

I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
