14 Months to go!

I skipped 15 months, things are frantic with the house and the wedding planning HAD subsided.

Not for long...

We're pushing forward with simple planning, things we can set-up without deposits, things that can easily be revised, because you know I will change my mind.

First... the invitations. I toyed with doing them myself, rubber stamps, postcards and so on. I love design and with an artsy background I thought it would be a cinch. Not so much. After many hours of browsing the Internet and being constantly disappointed by the frilly girlie formal invitations I stumbled upon this... Papertalk Press. Simple. Sweet and completely non-traditional.

I even convinced Richard it was perfect, although his lack of concern towards our stationary was more to point than, 'perfection'. I think his exact words were 'Sweetie, its an invitation. I don't care.'

I love that man!

Second... my hair on the big day. This was always decided that my childhood stylist would be the unlucky participant in taming my mane, but I hadn't discussed this with her as of yet. I now have, and she is thrilled. So Wanda, will be doing my hair for me on the big day, but I have to leave everyone in suspense, because you can't know my hair choice until July 1, 2012 (ie. the BIG day).

Third... I think we picked our photographer. He was always my first pick. A friend of a friend who takes amazing pictures and has the quirky personality to pair well with us. We have gone back and forth several times, convinced we couldn't afford his genius. We scouted out a lot of options,  but it always came back to this... Trigger Happy Photography. We are in the process of setting up our engagement shoot and will likely post the pictures here, when we get them back.

So that is it... all of my planning in 3 small paragraphs.

14 months to go and 30 days until the BIG move.
